菌 (Jùn)

Our namesake, Jun, has many layers of meanings:


The character 菌 (Jun), is taken from the Chinese character for "mushroom", and sounds similar to the English month of June, the season when these mushrooms flourish in the wild.


It also represents our original intentions behind starting this restaurant together: to have a place where Joy, Nutrition, and Unprocessed foods can be shared among friends and family.


    We go back to basics, bringing out food's true and authentic taste.
